I just ordered one but the only thing is it doesn't say if it fits a Trail with KDSS? Anybody have one of these installed on a Trail yet?

What part of the KDSS would be in the way? The lines?

The lines only run on the driver side and the rear piston should be plenty far from the skid. Maybe the sway bar is in the way?? Anyways here's a pic of the rear diff on a TE. Maybe Harper or someone else with the diff skid will will chime in and maybe show pics of their skid mounted.

The KDSS won't be in the way but the e-locker might.I think you be all right though as it's on top.

I was afraid of that trac bar and possibly the sway bar so after crawling under mine and looking at pics of it online it looks like it will be fine. It says it provides great protection of the elocker without the need for another guard.

Talked to BudBuilt today and I have to say one of the nicest guys I have ever talked to. He did say that the diff skid fits the Trail with KDSS so thats good news. Also he said they have a rear bumper and a front bumper in work!

Well still no diff skid was told 2 weeks after 3 weeks was told being shipped next week after almost 4 weeks still nothing and now no answering phone calls or emails. Was really looking forward to the skid but wtf? Rant over
