Curious as to if the bolts can screw right into the frame. Are there threaded holes in the frame?

Just curious before I start to tackle this today. Going to do a detailed write-up to add to the write-up collections. Just looking for any tips/heads ups before I get into it.

I was able to bolt on my MetalTech/OPOR sliders using the supplied hardware into the threaded frame. Very easy.

Not all the holes on the BB mounting plates have respective nuts welded on the back side of the frame, but you should have enough welded nuts to get ~3-4 on each front plate, and ~6-8 for the back plates.

Before you start, unbolt all the bolts for the gas tank skid except the one hiding up in the transmission tunnel, then bend it down enough so that the rear mounting plate can slide in between the frame and the skid.

If you have KDSS, I hope you have a friend to help on the driver's side, lol. Passenger side is easy peasy

Thanks guys. I have an SR5 4x4. Thanks for the heads up. Wanted to put as much detail as I could into the write-up and any problem spots that people have run into or recommend not doing.

Anyone recommend using any type of threadlocker/etc?

I ran a tap thru the threaded holes to clean up the threads, and I also used some never seize,, worked great

Yep pretty straight forward. Bolted right up. Great fit. Look the same as buds but didn't have to pay $300 extra for those detailed instructions....

If you spent the extra $300 bucks and got the authentic BB sliders, you'd realize that wasn't the joke :caked:
