So, I just finished bolting up my Budbuilt sliders - first let me start by saying these things are awesome

Question for you (and anyone who wants to chime in with a response) re: the BB's; and that is, if you rotate in your seat and sort of slide/hop out, do your calves hit the sliders at all? Or if you step out, do you rub? It looks like they are just far enough out from the body that you can't help but rub pants/legs on them. (FWIW, only the RR's look like they are truly "in" and out of the way). TIA.

For anyone who is intrested. I called Budbuilt today and order my bump out slider. Was told that their steel provider has been sick for a long time and they are estimating at least 1 month wait for their next shipment. They do have beefy ones in stock but none of the regular one. Just some info for people who are interested in them.

They do stick out quite a bit. I have began to use them for a step so it is no longer an issue.

Ditto. I bought a role of 3M "safety step" tape from Home Depot and put a strip along the top of my sliders and use them as a step. If you don't you have to be pretty spry not to rub your leg on them.

That being said, at the beach this weekend when loading things in and out of the rack they were indispensable. They're just the right height and stick out just far enough to be the perfect step for accessing your rack.
