BudBuilt hidden w/Warn M8000

What are the recommendations regarding the addition of a BudBuilt Hidden Winch mount with a Warn M8000 winch on a '12 TE......would I have an issues running that on a stock Trail or do I need to upgrade front shocks and/or upper controls arms?

You are really going to want some stiffer springs. I think I lost about an inch of ride height when I installed the hidden mount and winch with synthetic line, and that was on Icons with a stiffer than stock spring.

Make sure to check out some of the install threads for tips and tricks. You are going to have to remote mount the solenoids, or do some modifications to be able to access the remote connector.

I just put one in, with a Ramsey 8000....I do have a spring upgrade.

I agree synthetic is the way to go...saves 40-50 lbs over all steel cable.

I have exact setup you listed above and my truck lean forward so much that it looks like it is kneeling and i have extended travel icon coilovers. When i installed the suspension the truck was leveled, after winch it has slight rake, once i'll add more weight ill adjust my coilovers.
