I tried the Bumper lens mod on my 2003 but failed miserably due to rust on the bolt and nut. They are totally seized together. When I managed to get it to turn - the bolt and the nut both turned - this means it's stripped on the inside of the light housing:bash:.
I don't think I have a chance to getting the light out without doing damage.
I guess 7 years of canadian winter with salt on the roads would do that.
Now I have all the parts to do it but no application for it.
I prepared 20-Led 3175 ck bulbs with the toyota connectors and wanted to do tail and brake lights. 18 g wires with connectors.
Would anybody want the parts?
