All my armor is from BADLANDS in WA. I had 2 versions of their front bumpers. Their sliders and rear tire carrier.

Keith, sorry if this is ignorant as I can't seem to find the answer to my question. With this bumper,(non-BL version), am I going to experience rubbing with body flex? If so how can I fix this? Does a poly body lift fix the flex, and the only way to fix it? I want your bumper when you get the non-BL situated, but not at the cost of rubbing. Otherwise, body lift it is.

Hi Caleb, the non-BL install kit will maintain the same gap that you would have with a 1.25" BL. (I just received those parts yesterday, in fact - they should come out of quarantine today so I can QC them.)
Any aftermarket bumper should be installed with either SS rear mounts of poly body mounts as a minimum, though - BL or not. Our frames flex quite a bit (the body doesn't) and the rear factory mounts basically "float" so they don't maintain frame to aftermarket bumper clearance when you offroad.

These are the SS rear mounts. I installed them in my truck 3 years ago and still works like a charm.

thanks....I personally like the plate style bumpers vs tube bumpers in front..the badlands back ones with dual swing outs look nice and that style does not bother me in the back

tried calling ARB for clarification on bumper and the extra lights...got bumped off twice
funny....on tacoma world...someone asked the same question...and the answer was same as yours...its mostly texture...however they posted pictures of both and one has the lights...one does not
when I go to other dealers...some show lights some do not

4X Innovations only negative is winch will fit inside but not the control box so that leaves trying to find a alternate mounting location for the control box along with extra long cables.
I worked w/ banditrunner on a custom bumper and it's pretty awesome. Unfortunately, I failed to realize that welders in my part of the country are significantly overpaid compared to where we moved from and so I couldn't get anyone to weld it for a reasonable price. Hence, I'm waiting until after I take my medical boards in May and plan on welding it up myself.
For what it's worth, the total cost for the metal and water jetting was ~ $250, and the plans from Bandit runner for $125, so if you can weld it yourself, I don't think anything off the shelf comes close.

Wondering if there are more bumpers out there that don’t require any cutting and welding to install. I saw that someone mentioned CBI, 4X, and RLCFab don’t require any modification to the frame. Anyone have any experience with RLC? Are there any other direct fit bumpers for these 4runners?
Also, anyone running the CBI Hybrid Adventure bumper? Curious to see what it looks like on a rig.

Anybody have any experiences with this? Love how their hybrid bumper looks but I'm a little concerned on how it mounts. Cheapest way to do it is learn to weld and pick up a DIY option.
How are you guys liking the AOR bumper without a winch in it? I love the look of this bumper and the fact that it is a hybrid style as well as the fact that its prob. a bit lighter but wonder how it looks in person with that big open space with no winch in it. Not really interested in getting a winch and don't plan to.
Its also a huge plus to me that the AOR buy is active on the forums.
