burning smell and some smoke

I have a 95 2wd auto with about 147k. It has an oil leak that requires about a quart to be added every two months. I don't drive very far at all. Usually about 1.5 miles to my office everyday. With all that said, I have begun to smell a burning smell, also by the time I get to my office there is some smoke coming out of the engine?

I checked the oil and it's fine. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Mine does this as well. My leak is coming from the drivers side Valve cover at the rear and leaks onto the driver side exhaust manifold. Smells like burning rubber. New VC gaskets should do the trick depending on where the leak is coming from

Valve covers would be my first guess too. Next time you see smoke, open the hood and see where its coming from.

And get it fixed, because you dont want a fire under there.
