Buying Advice for a '06 SR5

Found a nice '06 SR5 4WD at my local CarMax dealership. Any tips or advice for 4th Gen T4R shopping? Any advice or thoughts on buying from CarMax?

Thats definitely a high price, even if it was in great condition (atleast for my area). CarMax is no haggle too, because you know they are there to help you! I almost got mine from a CarMax, but their salesmen are way too pushy (more than the usual) and the prices were ridiculous. Apparently they do a nice inspection, heavy advertising, and "an almost all your money back" guarantee that jacks the price up.
 
IMO, $22K way too much for 53K miles. A similar grade used 4Runner but in Driftwood Pearl at CarMax-Laurel Used Store is $24.6 but only 19K miles. A brand new one at CarMax Laurel-Toyota for the same engine/grade is around $28K. At least it's the V6 so you don't have to worry about changing the timing belt at 90K (V8); V6's are on timing chains.

I bought my 4Runner new at CarMax Laurel Toyota. Good buying experience; finalize everything within an hour. Then again I knew my credit rating before hand.
 
Yeah too high for 53k miles, not to mention that 53k miles is a lot on an 06, so it was probably driven pretty rigorously.
 
For $3K-$4K more you can get a new leftover '07 with the same specs. Call around or send out a bunch of emails to the dealers in your region.

Kelly Blue book says retail should be $23,715. for an 06 V6 SR5 4X4 an $22,515 for a 2WD with 53,000 miles
