Greetings, long time lerker, I had to sadly replace my old Downey headers. I picked up from a friend an obx headers for my truck. It installed fine but I'm getting a cel for number 5. Replaced o2 sensor with denso oem, no change, changed ecu, tps, air box, adjusted timing, it runs perfectly fine and no issues but bad mileage and the cel that comes on at 45 to 60 mp3 and then goes away.
Backup ecu, airbox, throttle body are tested and work fine...just that darn cel that is frustrating me right now.
The wires are fine from the o2 to the plug...o2 sensor is behind the CC near bottom of drivers seat.
This was the same location as the downey.

I also used the same pipes from downey being the downey had the o2 sensor more into the pipe so it can get a good reading.

I'm leaning towards a wire issue but any suggestions on what else to look for??
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I'm leaning towards the header is not good or ??

Apologies....It's an 86 with a 22re.

I forgot to clear the codes, I did the ECU fuse trip and it didn't work.

I did the battery disconnect for half a day and after driving nearly 150 miles on it. There is no more codes.

Weird.:car::thumb3:
