Opinions: Bar or No Bar?

I like the look with and without the bar, but I usually try to lean towards a more factory look, so I am thinking no bar.
But what practical uses does that bar actually provide that I would be passing up? I don't really think I'm gonna be mounting anything to it, or catching cattle with it, but for some reason I just think i "need" it...... but why??
Then there is which bar? I like the half height better than the full height, but I am concerned (slightly) with airflow since it blocks the radiator.
Back to no bar....

I'm curious about the fitment. Better than SSO? Looks like it fits a lot better than theirs. Also was curious how far out the bar sticks.

I am in on the group buy. It seems everyone gets the full or mid bull bar. I have asked this question to quite a few people on insta that have both and the only response is that it could potentially provide extra protection from what I am not sure. When I thought about it deep down I decided I didn't need the bar and it wasn't worth the extra money to me. I actually love the look of no bar. The thing rhw bar is actually good for is if you were to hit a deer dead center there is a chance that a deer might go over and into the radiator. With the bar there is one more point higher up that can potentially allow you to drive your 4runner home in that situation. I have had that happen on my last truck and it saved a tow bill situation.

Back and forth, back and forth.....

Full bar and gussets is just too much, I'm trying to be relatively subtle about my mods. I don't wanna drive to my cubicle office job looking like I am about to go on safari.

Thanks hayde89, his does look good clean, but I think ... jeez, even as I'm typing this I can't make up my mind....
I think am leaning toward mid bar.....I mean people get these all the time, and also put light bars in the grill, so I guess any worries of air blockage are unfounded.

But then......
