I was thinking the same thing but paid with PayPal and usually PayPal will take care of issues especially on the buyer side. At least that has been my experience.

Mine came in today. A little beat up from shipping but think they be ok. Haven’t had a chance to install one yet.

I used one, seems to work well, some say Fram is better etc...

I've gone through 3 or 4 of these, they work fine. At that price point I change it twice a year...

I use a $16 STP cabin filter. I' don't care about odors or anything. Cheap is fine with me. I've been using them for the last 70K miles, and they work great and hold together just fine. I'm in extreme dust environments a lot, so they get changed more often than the average probably. It just doesn't behove me to buy something too expensive that will just get thrown away.

I just had my last free service on my 2017. Claimed the cabin filter needed replacing. $69. Then claimed they needed to do something to the air conditioning system because the air filter was bad. $169.
WHATEVER! If you wanted my business after the free 25k was done, you shouldn't try this sort of stuff.

It's the rare exception to have problems pre 25k, they've just turned the dealerships into jiffylubes with this.
Not really. I change it at the end of May after pollen season is mostly over /it gets pretty bad where I live/, and then again before winter. Every time the old filter is full with leaves and other particles, though I've never noticed any decrease in the performance of the HVAC. I'm likely overdoing it but for 8 bucks a pop...I don't mind it.
On a side note - a dealership wanting $69 to replace the cabin filter sounds like a robbery for what it actually entails to do so.

I got a pair of the EPAuto filters from Amazon. The packaging was good and the filter quality seems fine, though there are far fewer pleats than the OEM part. I'll be mindful to check the filter more frequently and may look for an alternative down the road. For reference, here is what filter looked like at 26K miles on my Southern California driven T4R.

it fits, quality looks okay, but there isn't enough carbon to make a difference in regards to odor control. i may try the lexus carbon filter next time to compare.

just from what I have read about 5th gen drain line issues, shared with Lexus LS, and some other Toy/Lex vehicles, filter isn't going to make it go away. gotta pull those lines and clean them out, and somehow re-route to prevent. I dunno what the fix is but I've been shopping 10-15 LS's and when one of them has that problem manifesting it is really obvious. I watched the price drop and drop and drop on one that was otherwise very clean, and finally gone to auction. that's rare with clean LS with 59k miles
