Calling all k02 owners 265 vs 275 ?

So does the .06 in height make a big difference in person ? They keep saying the ride will be unbearable for me but if its is really negligible as far as mpg and ride quality I may still change . I keep the 265s at 42 and I think it rides perfect more stable than my 20's . I was thinking going bigger and airing down a lil

I just had 275 KO2s put on today. Somewhat noticeable difference in height (probably only in my head since I'm looking for it) and absolutely no difference in ride that I can tell.

I've heard it before on these forums and I will reiterate it here:

The 275 KO2s look like they were meant for the rig.

I have the 265 C loads and no regrets yet. Im sure one day when I get stuck I will curse that I didnt have that extra .3 inch of ground clearance :ybrick:

Did you keep original 265 spare or it is 275 now too? My factory Bridgestones have 35k miles now, and I can't wait to see them falling apart, so I can put KO2. After reading many treads and posts I'm still not decided between 265 and 275. Now I do mostly 60 miles a day black asphalt commute, but in 6 months it will probably change to 50% dirt road in 4 seasons weather.

I kept the stock 265 spare on. I go off road to get to dispersed camping sites throughout the state so I'm content with a 265 spare for now.

I ride my 275s at 39 psi. If you're that concerned about the .6 in height difference I would just keep your current set. At this point it is all based on a certain "look" you may be trying to achieve because between 265 and 275 your performance of the tire will ultimately be negligible. 275 may have a "tad" bit bigger section, but that won't matter when you're pulling through mud as the KO2s are the ultimate tire as far as I'm concerned.

Never gotten stuck and just last weekend forged a 3 foot creek muddy-bottom creek with no issues to "rescue" a hunting buddy stranded on the other side.

...However, that could be because I had 275s and not 265s :laugh:

So what would y'all do? Apparently I have become a retard over this does the 275 look bigger or not !! Just looking for a straight answers . And no one has said yes or no ... Had several 4 wheel drive shops said it will be day and night that's the only reason I'm asking - thanks

Jeezus Christ, we're still talking about this??? Dude, a 275 is roughly 1/2" taller. I've been driving through shitty shit for work and play for many years now, and I have yet to encounter a situation where a 1/4" extra clearance or 10mm of extra width would make even a little bit of difference to my quality of life. Just make your decision and move on to enjoying your truck.

I have 275's with E rating. No rub, no problems, and the weight is negligible. Still averaging 18 mpg and long trips I've gotten 19.6 mpg before which included some stop and go traffic.
