NO, NO, NO. This pipe only exists because my customers wanted it, and I worked with DT to offer it and had a list of customers that have been bugging me for years on it. This is going to be an affordable option, you're welcome. I do what I can for my customers.

I have the preproduction ones currently installed and they are awesome. They do have two resonators and the piping has good ground clearance

The Y-pipes are expected to be in the $500ish or less range which are also T304 SS with resonators.

So, what I'm looking at, I think, is a set of DT shorty headers with a flange output, mated to DT Y pipe with built in cats? Are those cats? if they are, they don't look like typical Magnaflow cats.

What was posted is a set of preproduction Doug thorley y pipes for 03-09 4runner v8 models it has 2 resonators, it is currently bolted up to the stock headers and stock muffler.

i dont think true long tube headers per se because the shortys are already shoe horned in...more of just a direct bolt to y-pipe without welding and fabbing

It’s installed on my 06 v8 4wd. The sound level stayed the same, powerband is a bit smoother. Feels like I gained some mid range power, no dyno charts though.

Long tubes will be released soon also, the guys at Doug thorley prototype a set on my rig while making the y pipe.

All this was made possible by Jason burtman pushing the guys at Doug thorley to help us out and the rest of us emailing and letting Doug thorley know this is what we need.

In my case, I plan to run the long tube and it would increase the noise and drone a bit more. So paired up with this new y pipe with resonators which would fix the problem.

Another plus is replacing the rusted out system with a more free flowing design for some power gains

seeing that your in california i dont see how your system rusted apart. from the pics you posted i would have thought your 4r was brand new. what about emissions?

2003 V8. So if I Run the Y-pipe I Loose 1 Cat. If I Run the Long Tube I Loose the other 2? Then I have just the Resonators on the Y-pipe and No Cats? Do I need to Run The Short Tube and just put in New Cats? Just want to plan Correctly. I have too Pass Emissions.
