Calling all V8 owners that want a high flow Y-pipe!!! I can do it. Need your help!

Maybe you have the Doug Thorley headers, maybe you don't, but there has been an explicit need for this item for a while. I tried to get Gibson to do it, but they made it for the V6 and not V8.

Other options seem pretty costly, especially if you have it made custom. BUT, I got my guy at Doug Thorley to say he'd make them if he gets a rush of emails asking for them.

SO, if you want a good Y pipe with that isn't going to look like a pretzel like the factory and more power and ground clearance, etc, send an email here:

In the email, say you'd like Y pipe, and what year V8 4Runner you have, etc. If he gets enough emails, I can get it done and this will be most affordable option out there.

I've sold over 50+ sets of the DT headers for the 03-09 4Runner already and I know this is in demand. Please try to help out.

Also, if you're looking to do the headers, I recommend getting them now, even if you don't plan to install for a while. DT has a price increase in a few months and these will be going UP IN PRICE again, but right now the price is NICE./

You don't want their Y-Pipe anyway. My brother has had 2 of them on his FJ and they both have developed what sounds like metal BBs rattling around inside the cats. Couldn't get anything to fall out when tipped sideways.

Hm, the one I bought was catless but it did have resonators

That makes more sense. So apparently they are jingle makers, tambourines, maracas, rattlers, or cow bell solos too.

Isn't it just a stock replacement for the passenger side of the non-california emmisions y pipe? Mine has two secondary cats, one on each side before they merge. We're looking for large dia, smoother bends and merge, and no pancake coming across from driver side.
