Camper runner

Love this thread! Such a sick project, what rtt is that you are using? I'm guessing meant for another type of vehicle? Also what material are you using on your wheel wells and parts of the flooring, the reflective bits? Thanks, love seeing the updates, coming together quick!

I got my coastal bumper back from powder coat and installed it with some additional marker lights.

I also finished making the mattress, so stoked!

The winch is a Come up 9.5rs, it’s mounted but not wired up.

Nice to know that I won't be the only one to cut their roof almost off for this reason. So glad to see someone tackling a project like this and a project that I want myself. Do you plan on using the Havelock in your 4runner?

Awesome! Camping in it has been so rad.
Yeah definitely! it’s stuffed in some of the body panels right now, our shop is in the warehouse attached to their facility in Reno NV.

Very cool. I finishing up a van project in which I used Havelock. Their wool insulation is so nice to work with!

This fall I plan on doing something similar. The plan is to build something similar to the old Campteq pop top that was once made for Land Cruiser's.

Campteq’s new stuff is pretty rad as well. I considered that route but the roof of the 4runner is so narrow, and tapers at the rear.
