Can you replace LBJ dust boots?

Just wondering if anybody's done this, and if so, where they got the boot itself from. Got a pair of brand new lowers, and on one of 'em, the dust cover ripped open a bit during shipping, I'm guessing. The joint itself seems fine, smooth movement and all, and the part was backordered for a month or two that I really didn't feel like waiting over something (seemingly) as simple as a dust boot.

So.. anyone got a part number for a replacement boot?

if it was damaged in shipping, ship it back... you paid for a new part and it came damaged....

now if you possibly damaged the boot during installation, that is another story, and unfortunately, IMO I'd just buy another one...

As far as I know, there is no replacement boot offered. I remember this topic has come up a few times a while back. You'll have to get another LBJ.

One was torn during shipping, but I ended up swapping the boot from the old joint over. Still felt solid, not brittle or anything, the joint was just absolutely toast.

you used to be able to buy new boots, nice poly ones, you even had a color choice.

that said, I don't know if there were available for every vehicle(I don't see why not) and I don't know if they are still making them.
and lastly, I don't remember the company that had them...

but, I do know at one time you could buy them.
