After about 2 months of not having a functioning rear wiper, got the new assembly in and installed. Literally took 5 minutes. WD40 is a must because the lock nut was super rusted after 11 years.

Apparently its going to rain this weekend and being at ACL, I want to be able to see out my back window

Had pretty much no homework today so decided to do a few things. Installed the mic holder for the CB since its really distracting to mess with when I drive.



Also got some basic tools like a wrench, pliers, etc in the took bag on the seat covers. Already seeing that i'm going to like these a lot.

Haha cool,, Yeah it's a really great add on and really functional if you plan on getting a roof rack! Plus it looks bad ass:thumb3: I also got my CB mounted in the same spot too, But yours is a lot smaller nice and compact mine takes up most of the space right there i was thinking of maybe mounting it on the passenger side..

Thanks as always! I have actually been up there before to go shoot with my Dad. If I get some shocks, coils, and BFG AT tires I might see about taking my runner to go off-roading, LIGHT off-roading since its 2WD.

Was noticing that you have spidertrax spacers, are they any good? Talked to my dad about new tires with more aggressive tread, but he though ahead on that... I have Michelin Latitude which are great everyday tires, but looks are not there.

I'm thinking of getting the spacers, especially after the lift, to make the tires look wider if anything.

yeah they're great, a lot of people here have them. what makes them better than a traditional "spacer" is that they are hub centric, and bolt to the existing studs, making them far safer to run than the shim style spacer that just slides over the studs. I've had them for over 20k no issues, and the wider stance doesnt hurt either!

Finally after about 3 months of beating around the bush, looking at different racks, lights, we got the Baja rack ordered for the runner! When I first saw the rack and light cage on The Josh's 4Runner I was hooked on it.

I called them first about return policy, they were very nice and they even gave me a discount code. I saved 40 bucks from a $795 rack but it is nice that they even gave me one.

I have no clue when its supposed to get in. :lmao:

Also got the light cage with it and ordered 2 sets of 2, light force 170 striker lights. They are the base, base model lights because I don't need HID's (They would be nice though) because the amount of driving on my ranch is fairly low, even at night it is low. Even then I use my Grandpa's 02 Jeep Wrangler so ya. (Its got 7,000 miles too :thumb3

If anything it is just nice to have them if I need them.

Another reason I went for light force lights is because of the usability of them. The filter design is fantastic! simply clip on for spot, flood, BOTH, blue, amber, clear, etc!

Will update when I get the first parts in.

You'll love the Baja Rack. I use it quite a bit.

I didn't get the light cage because of my LED fogs are bright enough even though they are the cheapos. We have land way up north in MN where it's pitch black and they light it up great! Not sure if you're interested in them but thought I'd still suggest it. Check out DDM Tuning: HID and LED Lighting They have lightbars, round fog/spot lights, square fog/spot lights. Just thought i'd pass it along.

The Lightforce 170's got shipped today, should be here by next Wednesday. I Am not an expert on electrical wiring so I need some help from guys who have a similar setup, primarily use with lightforce.

lightforce has their own wiring loom that gets all the electrical going but I'm not sure if I can connect all 4 lights to one loom and switch. Anyone have any experience wiring up roof lights and would be willing to give me some tips on what to get, I would greatly appreciate that!

This was something I have been meaning to do, so I did it. Got some 3M headlight restore from advanced auto parts.

It took about an hour for both lights. Came out pretty well.

you can get everything on amazon or rock auto, you'll need grille, bumper fillers (pieces under the headlights) and headlights

I've got my oem 07-09 smoked chrome front grille you can have for cheap. That's one of the parts, lol. Unfortunately I threw away my OEM bumper cover because nobody wanted it, but that's another part you'd need if you don't go with a steel bumper.

I'm staring out the window at my 4Runner and visually this is all I can come up with:

Headlights
Headlight trim
Front bumper cover
Grille
Fog lights

Will the light force wire loom work for the roof lights?

Would it also be a good idea to get a fuse box for the lights and additional lights in the future?

If you aren't planning on getting too crazy a couple relays screwed to a body panel in the engine bay and an inline switch would probably satisfy your needs and give you room to grow.
