Anyone used the Cardone HD axles? I'm looking at a boot/shaft replacment. I know the general opinion is nothing but OEM if lifted (I'm at 2" as of this weekend). I wonder if the HD would be acceptable?

I saw this model on some other places and the description says "come with optional heavy duty boots", I guess that's what HD means. Not sure if it helps with the lift though.

Not sure if it's true or not but I've read their shafts are not suitable for lifted trucks. Maybe BS but maybe users can verify or call BS this.

I just installed one of these on mine along with a 2.5" Daystar lift. With the lift the shaft is actually horizontal. I bought the Cardone axle thru Amazon with confidence because the Cardone has a Limited Lifetime warranty.

I installed the non-HD version (665235) on my passenger side about 2 years ago. I have Bilstein 5100s with the front set at 2.5". Boots are holding up good.

they will work with non-extended travel coilovers & non-all time 4wd trucks, on my GX im running extended travel and all time 4wd, and mine chattered so much on turns I had to take them out.

I know this is old thread. But I got a question.. does it come in pairs or 1 side axle?
