Cat Theft Warning

No I'm not talking about your pet. There has been a string of converter thefts in and around the Anaheim Hills. Its been mostly Tundras and has been quite frequent. A police report has been filed and apparently they have the plate number of the persons truck because the last time they were stealing someone caught them in the act but they got away. So just be aware when you leave your truck in parking lots and take notice of anyone lurking around.

Had mine stolen about a year and a half ago in broad daylight in front of my sisters work in Huntington Beach(she took the runner that day). Insurance replaced it, but it was still a pain in the ass.

I guess it's time to get Cat-Jack installed.

This is when you need an airbag system to lower your vehicle to the ground when it's parked. These scumbags today will steal anything cause they are too damn lazy to go out and work for their money. God help the person I ever catch in my house or in or under my vehicle.

My buddy work night shift... Stop me if you know where this is going. He goes to work at 1am and was running a little late. Some dumb kid was under his truck with a pocket saw going to town and didnt even hear him unlock his truck. Got out there saw the kid, yank him out and beat the shit out of him. Probably two or three kicks in and called the cops.
Still had to get it repair since he got the rear cut and was working the front.

Stolen Cats

I got a police bulletin here on this. Thieves target high clearance vehicles and trucks because they don't need a jack to get under the car.

The precious metals in these cats are what they're after. There is a market for them somewhere. The buyer at the recycle yard is breaking the law too because he's accepting stolen property. ¿They may be shipping the metals overseas to be reused in electronics?

some cunts stole the one from my accord which was stock height.

i'm afraid they would do it to the t4r so i cleared the shit out of my garage and stuffed the rig inside.

good 2 parts
1. i cleaned the crap out of the garage
2. i can sleep a bit better they wont jack it

:boxer:

This is my biggest fear with the Tacoma sitting at the curb 99% of the time. Since it doesn't move more than twice a week, it's a pretty easy target. Guess someone's been jacking tail gates around here too, but mine is already bent so I'm not too worried about it going anywhere.
