CB Mount - Calling out to St. Louis members

Hi guys...

What for?

Well, this guy fabricates a nifty CB mount for the 3rd Gen's, I found out about it from the below group buy:

This is a nice mount without too much external damage, though it's only available for 3rd gents.

He would need a 5th Gen to work on in order to fabricate for the rest of us.

I just talked to [MENTION=118339]Ammomac[/MENTION], and I think we'll be able to get something figured out. Might take a month or two due to my availability, but we'll get it taken care of.

For starters, if anyone wants to take a picture of the hatch open for me that would be great. On a 3rd Gen these mount under the rubber pads that hatch closes onto.

He is. I won't be able to do anything with this until December at the earliest. This is prime hiking season, and my weekends are booked through November.
 
I'm down for one when they become available in the future.

More props to you if you figure out a good location on the 5th gens for this mount. It was so easy on the 3rds, but the more and more I've looked into the open hatch area of my 5th I can't see where a similar type setup would be nearly as easy. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with, because that 3rd gen mount looks amazing.
 
if it works out easier for anyone closer thats cool with me - just keep me on the list for one when they get made! ;-)
 
I assume this takes a 3/8" stud? If it's possible, it would be awesome to have NMO as an option too.

It would be a 3/8" hole. Can you shoot me a PM with some of the info on the NMO style fittings. If I can make these mounts I'm sure I can alter one for your needs.
 
It seems like things have changed for these mounts, but in a good way. I'm not longer going to be producing these mounts for the 3rd Gen, and will not be making any for the 4th and 5th Gen's. However there is an upside to this. For all future inquires please contact [MENTION=91423]Asaspades93[/MENTION] for these mounts. Stay tuned for 4th and 5th Gen mounts as well.
 
I aim to have the 4th and 5th gen mounts ready to ship by the end of January, possibly before. Can you guys that are interested send me a message on here or to our facebook page, Flat Iron Fabrication, so that I can keep everything organized. Thanks, and thank you to MStud for working with us so that we can continue to make these awesome mounts!
 
Alright gents...

We need 10 people to commit before the shop can get going on this fabrication for the 5th gens.

Who is interested? [MENTION=105498]sovat4r[/MENTION] [MENTION=45721]adam2562[/MENTION]? We will have to pay in advance.

$45 per unit, I asked if they will make them available for both sides since I would like to mount up a CB and Ham antenna.. the answer was yes and for both sides, it's $80! Shipped.
