What is the actually main support for the mount, the plastic inside the back door frame or do you tap into a steel structure behind the plastic? Does it use screws to mount or do you drill/tap or just put nut on the back side? It does not seem like the plastic would be very strong.

"It will be fully welded like the 3rd Gen mounts. It will mount using the the one bolt next to the taillight,so no drilling required"

This is the response I got. Please post more questions in the GB so they vendor can see and respond adequately.
