CB Radio suggestions?

I installed CB and GMRS.
CB was Uniden CMX 760
And GMRS is Midland MXT275.
Ham will be down the road.
The only thing I haven't put in is the Mic holders. Need to play with placement tomorrow

I had a Cobra 29LX installed along with a Wilson 1000 permanently installed on the roof right in front of the shark fin.

Ham? That looks really double!

Go HAM and have it modded to pick up CB channels. Best of both worlds in one unit. Here is where I ended up installing mine. It fit nicely in the empty space.

Would you kindly link all the necessary websites to do this?

Years of frustration....

It's just sad that we have to struggle to find cubby holes, space on the side consoles, etc., etc. to install aftermarket radios. 4th gen, 5th gen simply don't offer good radio placement - especially if you want something more than the little cobras or midlands with the boxes you can hide. I guess off-roaders and radio enthusiates (sp) are simply not as prevalent as in the past, so automotive designer engineers continue leaving us with fewer and fewer options.

i have our radio mounted to the plastic removable thing in the center console. unhook wiring/antennae and remove the entire thing when not needed. at this point I just leave it in though and unscrew the antennae from the magnetic mount bolted to the roof rack.

works fine but i added an external speaker for the radio. its mounted right in front of the cupholder blocking that useless cubby lol. the only other issue i need to resolve is the handheld/mic. kinda annoying having it dangle outta the center console on trips lol. maybe add a plug for it in one of the switch blanks to the right of the steering wheel?

Forgive my ignorance, but which radio did you install and does it require specific programming knowledge?
