The bar I have is the single row rigid 40' and it is almost over kill itself! The led pods I have on the pillars are the bean LEDs from CBI.

Does any one kno if they make covers for the little pods? I won't to put some amber covers on mine!

We do make covers for the normal Duallies and Trikes as well as our Xtreme Series Double Row bars. We will have them on our site in early January and they come in Amber, Red, Green, Blue, Tinted, or white. They are $10/ea

Suggestion for CBI - seems like the bulk of people are using LED dually style lights on these. I don't know what the size of the shank is on those, but my day lighters had a 1/2" bolt and I had to drill the brackets open a bit bigger. Not a big deal at all, but I think it may make sense to make the holes 1/2"

Yeah. I think it would make sense to make that as an option.

Hole is actually too big for the hanma leds, needed to add a washer to it. It's better to have it smaller then enlarge it vs too big and the light moves around in the hole. Plus it's really not that hard to make a hole larger, I do have a toolbox full of different tools hehe.

I agree. Easier to make the hole bigger than try to shim it down after. Most people modding have access to a drill and bits. Just my 2 cents.

Me me me me lol. ..Did I tell you I Love these brackets? Had a show off at traffic light today with a tow truck dude. He had 6 somethings across the bottom on his f350 super duty and 10k blue hid in halogenheadlamps. I turned my truck towards him. Popped on my rigids, then one set of ditch, then second set, then quad bi xenon and finally flicked him off with quad high beams. He turned his lights off and drove off, and have me a honk. .... Of course I honked back with my train horns. Lol

I've been itching to pull the trigger on the brackets, but I haven't yet. I want a round light, 5ish inches. I've seen a hella 500 converted to HID. Or maybe something like these?

I would go with something in a spot patten on these, JMO. The hello 500 HIDs are basically the same as the KC HIDs that I'm mounting (DDM 55w HIDs in daylighter housings painted black) Hopefully they'll be on tomorrow and I can post pics before you make a decision.

Brackets on the doorstep today when I got home. Lights came a couple days ago... Heeheehee!!!!
From what I've read, brackets require a second person to install, to help with the hood? True?

I did the install myself, but it would of been immensely easier with another person. FYI, the brackets go on top of the hinge bolts (don't ask!) :redface:
And you can open the doors to get one more bolt out to make moving the fender easier.

Yeah it would make it easier but its not needed. Im glad everyone is loving these things! Im taking mine off in a few days to get them into the shop to powder coat them(they were just painted black to get them on the truck to finish test fitting) same with my bumper!!!

27W version of the ones above. Found a deal I couldn't pass up....
Brackets are much bigger and beefier than I thought.

Now I have a switch dilemma, as I like the idea of using an FJ or Taco OEM fog light switch, but I don't want to pay that much for a damn switch...
