CBI Rear Install

Does anyone have a halfway decent writeup? Maybe some tips or tricks while doing the install. I just placed the order earlier today and have been given an estimated lead time of 5-6 weeks.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It's a fairly straightforward install. I trimmed the plastic bumper skin with it still on the truck. Hardest part for me was cleaning up the threaded holes on the truck that have done northeast winters since 2011. A second set of hands will definitely be a huge asset. Especially when you're under the truck trying to bolt it up. Wouldn't want that thing crushing you.

I got the rear cap off and cut and prepositioned the bumper BEFORE I called a friend to come help me lift it up and mount it. One lift to check and had to trim about another 1/4" off the cap before final install.

Hey, I have a great idea. You could do one as you install yours! :dancin: I am also eying this bumper for later, so the more people that get out there and take nice photos with clear instructions the less body damage/epic F@(& ups I will make/do. :wave:
