Bracket & ARB Air Compressor Final Install 8/30/15
ARB compressor mounted for air locker inside of the rear differential. It's mounted on a bracket fabbed up by Leroy(bandiworld on FJNortheasters forum). You my boy Leroy
imp:! This took me entirely way too long to finally finish installing. Had wired it up and ran the air line back in April or May. Just never configured a bracket but my friend had just made one for a mutual friend of ours. He drilled out holds to mount either the CKMA12(mine in picture) or a CKMTA12(double compressor) for if/when I need to. Had to just modify a tiny bit due to a couple of holes which mount to the side of the inner fender weren't lining up. Nothing a little cutoff wheel and some weld couldn't handle. Although I'm only using one of the two inner mounts, it feels damn sturdy.

Nice bro looks good! Make sure those mounts are tightened down good because they can slide down with the extra weight on them, and you don't want that 60" high light smacking into the side of your truck!

Don't be surprised if you smell diff oil every now and then. Some can be pulled back through air lines when cycling and where you have your compressor mounted, it will spray the roof of the hood and the air intake for hvac will bring the delightful smell right to ya! Freaked me out till I figured it out.

No worries. Just wipe it up and the smell goes away. I usually just use a shop towel when airing up and it never gets really bad. It isn't going to be tons, just a nice misting. lol.

I'm thinking of wrapping some rubber material around the rack where the mounts for the Hi-Lift are. Maybe that will keep it from moving a bit better.

And that diff oil won't hurt the compressor?

It doesn't go into the compressor. It goes through the valve and sprays out the release. You have nothing to fear!
If it happens, you will see it. All the valves I've seen do it. Just something to keep tidy.

Mine doesn't. Is your diff breather clear with an open end, ie not a 1 way valve?

I think so, but I will double check. I have a spare breather valve I could pop on there to make sure. To think of it, I don't recall changing out the front breather valve when I put the locker in so you may very well have the correct diagnosis!

Replaced Brakes 9/13/15
Replaced the EBC Ultra Slotted Rotors and EBC Green Stuff Pads with Toyota OEM Rotors and Pads. Parts ordered me the incorrect front rotors and my passenger front caliper is seized.
Alex replaced both of his differential and transmission oil and the exhaust gaskets on his FJ. Thanks for the help, Alex!
