Cepek DC-2 and Blizzak DM-V1

Hi All,

Searching for "Cepek DC-2" or "Cepek DC-1" hasn't turned-up anything, so I'm wondering if anyone has these wheels on a 4th gen?

The wheel is 17 x 9 with -12mm offset, so it's quite aggressive, but it is considered a "close fit" by Tirerack (it appears for 4th gen fitments, but TR calls to let you know it sometimes rubs).
I plan to run the stock size tire 265/65/R17 (Blizzak DM-V1), so I'm hoping it will fit within the fender with this size tire. My other choices are the AR Chamber and the AR Artillery Both are 17 x 9 and -12mm also. I saw someone had a set of Chambers on a silver 4th gen, but I can't seem to find the post by searching for "chamber" and looking through the links. My thought is if the Chamber fits then the other wheels will fit within the fender (TR says the calipers and suspension clears).
Can anyone confirm 17 x 9 -12mm fits an 04 sport with 265/65/R17 and no lift?

the DC- 1 or 2 will still fit under the fenders but they'll be farther out than stock & u might have to do some trimming on the bumper.

Cool, thanks. That would be OK if the tire only hit the fender when the steering is at full lock and with the wheel fully compressed into the wheel well. I'll mount them and try to check the range of motion for where when they rub -- shooting pictures. I don't think there's a thread on the DC-2, so I attached some pictures to this thread as a reference.

yea, they look cool, i was gonna get them but was advised about the trimming, so i went with a different brand & still had to trim, thats just the way it goes. if need be, check out JA.s thread on trimming.

Installed

Installed and they fit with minor coaxing of the fender liner. I shot some pictures of the install and will load them tomorrow. I'll attached a finished-install pic for now...

glad to hear that, they look great ,too! do they stick out from the wheel well at all or pretty much even with it. any mud flap rub at turns?

The tires stick out about a half inch, the fourth shot shows this. The tires are about the same height as the Revo 265/65/R17 I have on the stock wheels (the Revos have about 50k miles so they have lost a good bit of tread).

The front fender liners and front mud flaps have about a 1/2" of clearance at rest with the steering at full lock, except on the passenger side where the tire presses into the fender (pic 120, 6th down). Following J.A.s method, I unscrewed the four 10mm (head) bolts that hold that part of the liner in place, push it back about a 1.5 inches, then secured the bolts back in place through new holes and sheet metal backing (1x1" that I snipped). The next shot (pic 123, 7th down & 8th too) shows about a 1 inch gap between the tire and the relocated liner. I think I may get light rubbing under other conditions (full-lock and compression) and will look for scuffs and repeat the process above as needed.

I'd recommend the DC-2 wheels and 265/65R17 size if you're willing to make these minor adjustments to the fender liners as needed.

Thanks, I got to drive it last night in a little dusting of snow and it stuck way better than the worn Revos (very worn in all fairness). We got about two inches overnight, but my wife took the t4r to work since her plant is in a town that only has one snow plow (kid you not) and the roads are kind of scary anyway (rough, off-camber, etc.)
