Changing corner bulb light

Changing corner bulb light and other Q's.....

I need help changing the, impossible to reach, corner orange light on the head lights.

Am talking about this one:

Is there any way to change it without taking the whole head out...

You do not need to take the headlights out to replace the side marker lights or whatever they are called. When I first changed mine I thought WTF, lol. Honestly I had no clue and thought I would need to take the headlights out.

Now I will say the passenger side is much easier than the drivers side. On the drivers side you will find it much easier to remove or move the battery out of the way a little ways. When you reach inside you will need to get a firm grip and push in and turn. After you take them out they seem to be easier to replace - probably do to grim or dirt holding them on tightly.

Now it may feel like you have to dislocate your arm in order to change them but its fairly simple - just take your time and dont get frustrated. As stated push in and turn. I think I might have used pliers or something to grab or get better grip. But the passenger side will seem easier and it should be easier from here on out after the first time.

I had to replace one of those a month ago in my 03 on the driver's side.

I had to remove the battery to get to it.

Remove the battery. I am still looking for decent 168 LEDs to put in there. I go rid of the amber and did regular bulbs, still has a yellow tinge to it.

Im not sure how, but I can reach there just fine. It is kind of backwards and you have to stand by fender instead of the grill side.

Thanks for the responses guys, I got it this morning. With the help of some pliers I was able to get it out. Thanks God I only needed to change the passenger side. Pheww!!

Also I kinda want to change the color of my primary head lights (low beams), from that factory yellowish to a more whiter color...


Any suggestions?
