Charlotte Meet and Greet

It's probably the largest car meet in the area by far. Upwards of 1000 vehicles last month! Starts early 7-8am, crowds gone by 10-11am. I had to park in the gravel lot, right where I belonged .

I'm in the Steele Creek area.

The meet itself is always rain or shine. But given the forecast, I don't think I'll make it out there. We'll plan something else in the near future.

Missed it as well. New member and new to 4Runners, but brews and builds sounds like a great way to relax from the week. I should be good to meet up anytime Friday Night- Sunday Afternoon. Hope to meet some of y'all soon!

New Transplant

Hi everyone. Recently relocated to Charlotte from Miami, FL, and looking forward to some trail riding.

Anyone know of, or interested in organizing, a meet up with any of the local groups? Guys at 4WP told me about the FJ group, but I figured I'd ask here as well. I'm getting some new shoes (KO2s) on my TE this week and looking to get them dirty.

I’m in the area, I’m south of Charlotte. A good beginner spot would be Uwharrie for sure. Wolfs Den is easy so is Rocky Mountain Loop, and Slab Pile.

Anyone interested in getting something set up?

Hey, I'm new to the 4-Runner community and looking for people in the Charlotte area to chat with about their setups and modifications. I've done a SAS on a 1980 Toyota Pickup so I'm not a complete novice, only new to 4-Runners. I recently bought a 3rd Gen with ~230k miles. 5100 Bilstein/OME, Tundra brakes, new rear wheel bearings and seals, replaced the sunroof, and complete fluid change. I'm going to start replacing various bushings as time permits.

Want to get together for a beer and an appetizer somewhere local to talk shop and plan a trail ride?

Want to talk with some folks about suspension options, take an up-close look at some built trucks, and just generally talk about what's worked and what hasn't. Should be helpful for all of us.

Meet at 5 pm on Sun., Sept 20, at Heist Brewery in NoDa! There's a good size parking lot where we can check out the trucks.

Post up if you think you can make it.
