Cheap flip up license plate holder

I mounted a winch, and needed to do something with the plate. So I went to the local salvage yard. Found a 70's land yacht. Most had flip down plate holders for the fuel tank. The guys at the yard wanted 5 bucks. I gave them 3. Went home and flip it over. I thought I was going to have to build some sort of bracket. But it bolted right up.

Sorry about the picture. Not sure why it's upside down. Maybe the holder really wants to be a flip down.
