Check engine light, VSC TRAC & TRAC OFF lights

I had this issue on my 2001 4runner, and they reset it at a shop when I had work done on it, hasn't come back since. I think mine was due to some tiny leakage, but those lights can come on for a variety of reasons.

Finally went to stealership...

but only for diagnostic, it cost me $210 but after 2 years I was done self-remedying. I have done so many peripheral repairs prior to this that never fixed the problem. I finally fixed it.

the code was P0441, Incorrect Purge flow, this was first reported at Autozone with the OBD scan.

Toyota gave a part number for a hose, that was $48, I found spare hose rather easily.

The Duty Vacuum valve part 90910-AC001, or 90910-12262 for $97. I cleared the code by disconnecting the battery. I can say after one month this fixed it. My mpg restored to 18.1 from 15.9 with all the lights on, my range when i fill up is 345 miles estimated and winds up meeting that if ran to E.

So always go to this after your gas cap, it's a purge flow valve in essence, plug and play, easy 10 minute fix.
