hello, just replaced my head gaskets and a few extras on my 92, on the first start up we had her idleing for a bout 2-3 minutes and she just shut off. no sputtering, nothing just instantly died!
so i started her back up idle was normal again adjusted timing etc. took her down the street to put some gas in her and thats when i noticed everytime i let off the throttle i would get a quick flash from the a/t temp light and the check eng light, simultaneously. also the tach would make a quick jump. i know a few toyota techs and from what they were saying was it could be a bad ground going on somewhere?
