Still having same issues with initial startuo of HID's, waiting til monday to call/email/ do whatever I must to actually talk to someone from TRS. Besides that, all else is good so far. Have had a few rain showers and also washed my runner and both headlights stayed dry as one could hope. for the unfortunate people reading my thread for help with their retrofit, I do have one piece of foresight. When trimming each reflector housing (backside) I realized after I installed that I didn't have a good method of ensuring the new surface would be properly level/flush/ strait call it what you want. Why does this matter?? B/c when you light up each projector, proper aiming may not be able to be achieved if the mounting surface is too far out of flush with OEM. I guess I just got lucky and mine were pretty close to level/flush. Took me a few tries to aim the lights height wise also. Also in regards to aiming the lights, under normal driving conditions, should each step up eventually converge and appear to be just one step when driving?
Lastly, I am also compiling pictures to post, but totally forgot continue to take pics as I was cutting, sanding, aiming, JB Welding, etc. I'm also not a camera savvy person at all, so any suggestions or tips on getting good shots of the lights lit would help me and you (so you don't have to suffer from totally crappy pictures) Thanks for anyone still sticking with this thread.
