Looks like a fun time! Will cross fingers on rear axle seal.....I'm sure you've checked that the breather hasn't become clogged, possible even when extended. Will cross fingers on other starter as well....

It was! I haven't checked the breather, but I'm pretty sure it's just from the seal getting bumped from when I installed the locker.

Great news! I got a 100% new Chinese Napa starter with great looking gears and it works great! The old 2011 remanufactured starter's teeth were worn a bunch.

Also, the rear axle seal hasn't leaked since I replaced it

Well, I only have the front skids, sliders, and rear LCA mount skids. It's not too much extra weight. I pretty much have always gotten 18-19 mpg since I got it running great a year and a half ago.

The new starter fixed it!

I pulled off my driver's side fender liner to see what I'll have to do to fit the tires. I'm going to start off by just pounding the pinch weld back. Then, I'll pull out the coilovers and test them at full compression to see where they rub. If I need to do more, I have friends that can weld

Hopefully, I'll be ordering the tires tomorrow. I hope I can find another split 3 alloy wheel (I have 3 already), but if I can't, I'll get a set of steelies from a friend. I'm going to balance the tires with steel BBs because that is what I have heard that works the best with these tires.

What is the technical size?. 34's or 305's?... And are they TSL's?....

How did balancing with the BB's work?...

34x10.50-16LT LTBs

Haven't balanced them yet, but they weren't bad at all at 45 mph

Pinch weld all cleaned up and painted


No rubbing! When I clearanced the front, I took the coilovers out and tested them at full bump. The rear just needed some cutting of the bumper and pinch weld. Came out pretty good IMO

Those are pretty sweet! Soooo aggressive, I like it. I'm glad they fit!

Had a blast with a friend at Pickett State Forest this past weekend!

The tires did amazing! After I cut off a small piece of my fender liner, there was no rubbing!

I finally ran into this guy. I've seen his 4Runner in Jamestown at least 3 times and I was surprised to pull up to it at the overlook!

i've seen people swear by Royal Purple

at the end of the day, it's all oil.
