It's been a minute since I've been on the forum. I was super busy with school stuff and a few fun wheeling trips mixed in. I managed to get all A's in my upper division geology classes! It was a LOT of work but it payed off!

I made a bump stop extension for my driver's side rear bump stop so my driveshaft doesn't eat my gas tank skid so bad. It barely rubs now...

My next big things are a Tom Woods driveshaft and new tie rods. I need to measure my current shaft and order it. Been putting it off for months lol.

My original ITREs are loose and are causing an intermittent wobble on the interstate. I'm going to replace them with the Chinese ones that came with my AAE rack next week. Then, I'm going to order some OEM ones from the place in Japan that is cheaper than the dealer and replace them whenever they come in.

I did my rack bushings last night and I had to break out the cheater bars for the channel locks haha!

We went wheeling last Satuday and had a blast! Here are a couple pics. My buddy blew his front diff and we though it was the CV axle so we changed that and it was no help...

I replaced my brake shoes a while back. Now it stops good lol



Replaced my idler pulley bearing and AC belt yesterday

I got a NOCO jump starter from my parents! Will let me have more peace of mind when I go camping with only my truck out in the middle of nowhere. Especially when it's cold out



Also got a bluetooth speaker for rocking out while camping :guitar3: and a new tripod that isn't broken so I can take star pictures without it wobbling around as much.

Not sure if I posted it on here, but I bought a Nikon D7200 on Black Friday and it's amazing!! Be prepared for some cool star/ night pictures in the near future. I'm also going to do a walk around video of my truck, sleeping platform and storage, and awning setup since it does really good HD video.

I'll have to watch for when you need to use the boost, we're wanting something along that line for our diesel backpacking wagon and I've got one of those very units sitting in my Amazon cart for laters. You know, when we're not remodeling bathrooms or the hubby completely overhauling the Volvo's heavily modified 4cyl for something.....crazy talk.... or all the other things going on over here.

Looking forward to more pics, you've taken some nice stuff even with a wobbly tripod.

I installed new Energy Suspension polyurethane body mount bushings today and man oh man, they make a world of difference. I wish I did them 3 years ago! The truck is so much smoother and quieter now! Even the engine noise is less- I guess one of the old rubber mounts was so worn that it was letting vibrations from the frame get to the body. I recommend anyone to do these! I found them on rockauto for $165, but they are out of stock right now.

I got one of the NOCO GB40s a few months back through the group buy here on the forum. Thankfully, I have not had to use the jumper yet, but it definitely provides the peace of mind when out on your own. It also has other cool features that a standard jumpbox does not. Very cool

After every use I check it and it still says 100% charge, but I still plug it in to make sure.

I finally got around to doing the oil cooler seals. The hardest part is getting pliers in there to squeeze the hose clamps. Also replaced the short coolant hose.






Pulled my transmission today to replace the pilot bearing, but it isn't bad. Must be something internal making my squealing noise... not good. But I am glad I pulled it because I found a leak on the input shaft bearing plate that I will be resealing with RTV. If I didn't discover the leak, it would have eventually ruined my clutch. Now I'm waiting on parts from Toyota for a few days...

My clutch squeal was the throw-out bearing. Also, those oil cooler hoses are a pain!

It happens occasionally when the clutch is out. When I barely touch the clutch pedal like 1/8" depressed, it goes away. Definitely not the throwout bearing. I have a feeling it is the input shaft front bearing. Anyway, I'll be on the lookout for a used transmission around the 150k mile range.
