Given the configuration of the pipe, I'll hazard a guess that while it didn't get the prize, it did get an honors for effort.

haha yeah. I heard a weird sound and my tailpipe was crumpled up under my axle. I think I backed it into a large rock and it pushed the hanger off, and then it got pushed into the ground when i backed up again :clap2:

I was pretty amazed at how tight the diff was after 250,000+ miles. I guess someone at one time actually changed the oil. The Aussie instructions concerned me but the photo writeup really helped.

I met my first fan! He is also a student at TTU and has followed my build since I started! I was shocked haha

The locker works great! I wish I could have disconnected my front sway bar, but I couldn't get the nuts of due to rust caused by the salt from last month.

The coolest 1st gen 4x4 Toyota I have ever seen! A few details- 35s, brand new 22R (2 months old), bobbed 15", some sort of gears- diffs/TC. It was pretty dang awesome!

Oh, and the no sway bar life chose me. I ripped off one of the ES mounts on the rear while going through the tunnel. Oh well...
