Cladding???

Hello all!! I have been reading on the forum for a few weeks now and you guys put out a lot of very helpful info. So with that said I am positive that someone here can answer this easy question for a me.

I am not a 4Runner owner(Yet). I am shopping around for a 01-02 3rd Gen, and am looking for white(Limited). What is the "Cladding" paint option?

The cladding would be the plastic panels they stick on the limiteds, they are on the lower half of the truck. A lot of the runners with the cladding are two tone. Personally I don't like the look but that is just my opinion.

i think the 01 and 02 models are not two tone, i think the cladding is painted to match the body. personally i like it, especially on the 99-00 models with the two tone, it gives it a beefier more rugged look, especially with darker colors.

I don't think the cladding makes it look more rugged and with those wide fender flares it looks too chunky and plasticky.
My Highlander makes my mom's '99 Limited look more like a street queen but that's exactly what her's is.
