Classics go to Moab?

If nothing else, we can start planning for Ouray in the Spring!

Believe me, that's been a developing plan in my head for the last few years! I don't know about the timing, though--many of the passes would be undriveable that early in the year. August and September are best for that area--remember, you're not talking about the desert of Moab--the temps in the mountains can still be cool at any time of the year. Anyway, we can wait until after the Moab run before starting this thread (LOL). I have only one requirement for a CO trip--Black Bear Pass MUST be on the schedule!!

I'll start the thread after we get back. Not sure I will even live here in the Spring still. You never know with the Army (my wife is in).

Sorry to break it to you fellas but once again I need to cancel on the trip. There are too many other obligations and pushing bills aside to go play doesn't seem like a good idea right now. Not to mention, if I break something then I'm up s.hit creek without any real way to get the hooptie home.

I'll catch the next trip when I'm in a better position to spend the money. Maybe we can schedule another trip to Moab sometime next Spring?

You're a tease.

It will be odd wheeling without you, but I imagine KidV will give me as many opportunities as you have to use my winch.

Got my time off from work taken care of. I will be there on Thursday the 11th and leave the camp ground the following Tuesday. Slave labor's grades look pretty good, so it looks like they will be in tow.

Yeah you're a something all right.........hate to hear it man. But I'm gonna tell you like I told Bob. There are a couple of you guys that are staples in this little community. I know things get in the way and if you can't make it, then I'm sure it is for the right reasons, but you guys really don't want to miss out on the 1st Annual Classic's Wheeling trip. Cram your butt in there with FoG's slave labor and just come out for the trip at least.

So, here are my travel plans. I will be leaving on Thursday the 11th and arriving by 1 or 2pm. I plan on wheeling Friday-Monday and either driving home on Monday night the 15th are early Tuesday morning. I'd like to be there earlier in the week, but no can do.

Your new Avatar is really throwing me off. And is that that freaking stump?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Nope. Was testing the stuffage on the new tires.

Aww, booger. I'll be heading home Sunday.

So should we talk schedule? Trails? We should save the good stuff for when everybody will be there, right?

Fins and Things I've been on, Hells Revenge I haven't, but both are fun and iconic. Should we do Fins thursday afternoon after you arrive, FoG?

Not sure I will be up for hitting the trails the second I get there. I'll probably want to set up camp.

How about Fins and Things on Friday.
Something scenic on Saturday.
Something more challenging on Sunday
Something scenic on Monday

Going to read Trail Damage.
