cleaning spark plug threads

Hello All! I'm new to this forum and hope I can get and give some good advise. I have a 97 4Rnr V6.
I'm not sure how this all came about but the end deal is that #3 coil pack shorted and at the same time the plug came loose and worked its way out. I am trying to get a tap down in the long tube but not having much luck.
Q. Does that plug tube pull out? Does anyone know of a tap that is long enough and narrow enough to fit down there so I can fix the threads?

Maybe you can try something like this: Sears.com

I am not familiar with your engine, but my guess is you're going to need to do a lot of disassembling to get that tube out if it actually came out...probably better off leaving the engine alone and just chasing the threads as is. Good luck!
