Clear Corner Lens Question: White or Orange bulb?

i think they are 22 dollars from jason burtman, once i install my corners and bulbs ill post pictures of my own.
i paid 210 for the muffler, new piping for the cat-back, and two 3 inch tips. that included labor to so it wasn't that bad. its not that loud to me, but i'm used to V8s with glasspacks. my friend says its pretty loud on the outside though. nice idle sound and take off sounds deep.

It's pretty nice to get so many responses. Thank you all for the feedback.
I think for the time being I'm gonna stick with orange. The clear lens still looks good during the day and very nice and legal at night
Maybe when I get new, brighter, bulbs for the headlights I'll change the corners as well to match.

I was thinking of getting a 50 series, but I was only going to get a single tip. I've never been to fond of the split tips. I just want something louder, and I know exactly how you feel about the V8's. The boy down the road from me has a chevy with straight pipes and his CAT cut off. He feels like he has to let me know he's going by every time by revving it up too.:flipoff:

Sloan it looks like you ordered some 168's which is the smaller bulb, you could've bought some brighter/bigger PIAA 921's from performance for only $12.. lol The 168 and the 921 use the same base you just have to see if you can fit a 921 there, for the corner's a 921 will fit fine, and for the license tag I was able to fit a 921 LED in there... barely lol.

I have to run out for an hour and pick my grand kid up from school . I'll drop you a PM as soon as I get back . I would assume those headlights would be a direct bolt in ? They are factory , correct ? I had to replace one back a few months ago and after coming to after fainting at what the dealer wanted , I ordered a aftermarket one on fleabay and ( I'm SO fussy ) I wasnt all to happy with the way it fit . One of the bottom brackets is like an inch away from the spot where it bolts to the (rad support ?)

I have the Silverstar Ultra in right now, and the fogs went out after about 2 months. AutoZone gave me new ones, but I am sure I'll get the same life from those. I like the superwhite color, but at $20 per bulb, I'd really expect a longer life. Headlights are holding up well, for now.

Dang, wish I had seen this thread earlier...I could have told you NOT to buy the PIAA corner bulbs. Reason being, that blue coating will slowly burn off and you will be left with a regular looking halogen bulb. It happened to me on mine.
I don't know exactly how long it took for the coating to burn off, but when I decided to swap them out in favor of a set of amber bulbs about 6-8 months later, the coating had completely flaked off on both bulbs.
I'd def stay away from PIAA corner bulbs. Now their headlight bulbs I like. I've been runnning their H4 bulbs over 2yrs now in my 4Runner and upon a recent inspection, the bulbs themselves still look just as good as the day I bought them.

Yeah you can get all that from www.burtmanindustries.com But as for my bug shield & skid plate, the skid plate is stock on the 02 Sport Edition 4Runner's and the bug shield was already on there too when I got it. You can order the skid plate from Toyota though, I would get clear corners from Ebay though, they are a lot cheaper. And use LED bulbs from your Corners, because like Rock said, the blue coating on those bulbs will fade off, and it looks like crap. I put some off those PIAA's in my dad's Tundra, and they faded off badly.crdean1 said:
