Ok, I purchased some clear corner lenses off of ebay for the marvelous price of 13 bucks, the shipping was actually more than the lights themselves, but anyway...
I installed them, they look great. HOWEVER, the stock clear bulbs for the corners didn't work after I put the clear corners in. They just don't turn on anymore. I know for a fact they worked before I put the new corners in cause I checked them.
It's not a wiring problem either because with the corners, I was given amber bulbs. They work. Problem is, at night, the amber bulb still creates that ugly orange look.
I'm confused here, why would the clear bulbs just not work anymore and the amber ones work fine? Is it because it's not legal to have clear corners?
Anyway, help me out here. Why did the clear ones stop working? Did I maybe break them or something? If I go buy new clear bulbs, will it work? I'm 100% positive I've seen other 4runners with the clear corners and the clear lights.
