Clicking noise

I have an 11 SR5 with 7600 miles. When I shift into Drive and press on the gas, I hear a one-time clicking noise. It does this every time. Any ideas and is this normal? Thanks!

The clicking sound is your doors locking.

it's normal, I believe it's a shifter lock the engages to prevent you from accidentally shifting into P once you start moving.

Thanks! I thought it might be normal since the truck is in drive and it does it when it coasts on it's own and when I step on the gas.

It's not the door locks, I know that sound.
