Climate control issue

Hoping someone can help us here.
2009 SR w/90k
Issue is that Heat is on or off (if fan is on and 65+ degrees it's ON, move the temp to LOW is it's OFF).
Fan works great, A/C is fine, just a PITA managing heat (esp. here in Michigan).
Thanks

When you say "LOW" are you saying lowering the temperature setting lower than 65 degrees via the center control or pushing LOW on the control on the left?

the temp setting ... so I push "down" from 65* and it says low.
- sorry for my delayed reply on this

I gave the sensor located in the panel just below the ignition switch a good cleaning. It definitely helped. These T4Rs really crank out some heat!

Thanks- I will look for it!
So is this the ambient temp sensor (under the hood)?
or is there an interior temp sensor?

It's the "Cabin" air temperature sensor, it's located behind the dash panel below the ignition switch, look for the little slotted holes, the holes and or sensor can get clogged or covered in dust causing it to malfunction, if so cleaning the dust should solve any issue with the sensor if it has a issue or as mentioned it may have a loose connection.
