Clock Issue

Clock is not lit up. Decided to take a look behind there as I was doing some work on the AC.

Turns out the Clock was not connected. Then I looked some more and I could not find the wire harness to plug in.

Eventually I will swap the radio out with a new one and will look closer for the wire harness plug. I am thinking its maybe behind the radio or somewhere else.

Really strange. Anyone else have this issue where the wire harness plug to the clock is not available?

Someone has been in here before as the black trim piece appears to have been replaced. It says 2002 4runner on the inside in white marker.

I read it... I think I need to look closer. When I remove the radio I should see more.


Maybe missing part of the harness.

Finding a clock that actually works in a 3rd gen is quite rare unless in the cold :laugh:

There is a " dummy" socket on the back there. I have done this 2 or 3 times and thought my clock was broken.

Unplug everything and then start over. You will figure it out pretty quickly.
