Clutch Slave Cylinder

Hello,

I believe my clutch slave cylinder is leaking, meaning the seal is no longer viable. I am going to replace, however, would this be a good time to replace anything else along with it? From my understanding the transmission will need to come out so would it be a good time to get a clutch kit? I have 261k on the odo and am unsure if/when the clutch was replaced. I do not hear noise wen the clutch engages.

There is no need to drop the transmission to replace the slave cyl. It is bolted right to the side on the driver side.

When I replaced mine I also replaced the master cylinder as well. If the seals inside broke down and contaminated the fluid is can ruin the seals in both cylinders. The parts are cheap enough where I would replace both if you can.

Change that hose to while your there.

If you can I would flush the fluid before and after changing parts just to get rid of any possible contaminants before installing new parts

Dot 3. Any brand will do in my opinion as long as the bottle hasn't been opened
