I received my OPOR sliders today and am preparing to spend the weekend scuffing/cleaning/priming/painting them. I'm going to use Rustoleum truck bed liner to give them some step grip and to make future touchups easier. Besides, it ensures that I'm in the garage all weekend and unavailable for the honey-do list.
For anybody who has done a similar job, did you coat the entire kit (slider "mains", brackets, contact plates where they attach to frame, etc.) with bed liner, or did you mask off some of the contact points and just paint those areas with a traditional spray paint? It's probably not a real problem, just wondering if anybody ran into assembly issues or other gotchas if you coated the whole shebang.
