This is for a 2001 Supercharged T4R with 192K miles. I am the original owner. A few weeks ago I had my mechanic do the timing belt, water pump, pulleys and tensioner, and replace the valve cover gaskets (they were leaking). Figured I'd be good to go for awhile.

Out driving today, stopped, started up, and the following warning lights went on and stayed on: Brake, VSC off, VSC trac, and ABS. Then the holy check engine light came on. Speedometer and odometer non functional. Tach, temp, and gas gauge are still working. Pulled into Advanced Auto so they could check for codes....here are the codes that came up: C1224, C1233, and P0500. Guy said it might be the speed sensor. But I'm not in a position to just throw new parts at the T4R with the hope that it "might" be the problem. So before I go to the mechanic I figured I'd post and see if anyone on here has any ideas.
Also, went to leave store, truck would not start. Guy came out and checked battery. Should have 750 CCA. Was at 77 CCA. I had a duralast gold so the guy was nice enough to jump me and i drove over to autozone. Battery was installed July 2011. It was still under a 3 year warranty so they actually replaced the battery for free. I am not sure if this is a related problem or just a very random coincidence.

Check your ABS sensors/ wiring. The ABS is what sends signals to the computer to calculate speed. Start there.

Thank you for posting, Doc. I have an update: just went out to the store. The speedometer and odometer are now working and the ABS and brake light are no longer on. How is it possible for the T4R to have fixed itself of this problem? The check engine light is still on, as are the VSC Off and VSC trac lights. So something is still wrong, but it can't be the ABS or speed sensor.
