The little we got in Aurora is melting. I'm hoping for either some sunshine today or the utility company to get power back on since it it went out 8 hours ago. Thehouse is getting chilly and I have family coming in from Hawaii in a couple hours. They're cold at 75° <LOL>

Where in Hawaii? I'm from Oahu.
Anyone else tired of them parading these kids around for these Amendment 66 commercials? I'm ready to vote No and get this over with...
I'm hoping to see a swing back to the right with the next election. I know that might be a little too optimistic, but I can hope... and vote. :usa:
It's a weird purple state.
From what I've gathered living and visiting here off and on for the last 20 years is that a lot of the socially progressive, granola munching recyclers may want your tax money to pay for their medical pot and have voted for Obama several times in both elections, but at the same time want to open carry a 44 and may be upset about shootings, but wouldn't give a damn to change gun laws about them, either.
I do prefer the much more redneck/mountain man North Colorado, and even Wyoming. Told the wife I may buy property up there when we get more established.
Castle Rock, oddly, was where they tried to kick gun owners out of their apartments.
Stop by Pike's Peak brewery in Monument and get a growler of their beer, it's worth it.
