The 5100s? Yeah I just ordered a set with eibach springs. Fedex lost them :redbrick: but I'm pretty stoked to get it all put together and ditch the spacers

Thanks, I'm gonna call them first thing in the AM. I need the shocks by Thursday/Friday of this week.. I have a thousand mile trip I don't want to make with the shocks slowly eroding the top hats

4hrs of install and dealing with seized bolt on the rear strut assembly finally got er done, a set of billies 5100 set at 2.5, fj spring and daystar 1.5 rears..i couldn't be any happier and 100% worth spending most of my Sunday..love the new set up and stance and rides amazing!

Are you running FJ rear springs w/spacers or stocks rears w/spacers?

Ghostrunner, what are your measurements on the front and rear from the ground to fender?

Some how I'm slight higher on the rear passenger side about 3/8" is it due to the gas tank being on the driver side?

Thanks! I like a little rake so I believe I'm going to go with 1.75 (3rd setting) in the front. It could be because of the gas tank. I'd measure with an empty tank and also with a full tank to see what the numbers are. 3/8" is not bad. Some guys run a spacer on only side in the rear to correct it. Thanks for measuring!

Installed the following today on the front of my truck:
- FJ 4x4 springs (~5000 miles)
- Wheelers Offroad 1/4" poly spacer and poly spring isolator
- Bilstein HD shocks (would have gone 5100, but got these new in box for $50)
Gained 2" in the front after an 8 mile drive -- went from 18.5" to 20.5".
Tomorrow: Rear FJ springs and 5100's. Hoping to get 1/2".
Even without the rears done the ride is drastically improved.
Later this week: FJ 8-hole wheels and 265/70-17 Bridgestone Dueler Revo 2's -- and an alignment.
I'll post pics when it's all done.

Ok, here are some before/after shots (sorry, crappy iPhone pics). Like I mentioned above, I gained exactly 2" in the front and 1/4" in the rear. There is still a slight rake, but I didn't want it to be completely level -- so I'm very pleased with the look and more importantly, the ride.

Has anyone picked the rear Bilstein 5160 to go with their FJ springs? I've seen a couple of 5th gens on here with the 5160's. I'm kind of on the fence deciding between the 5100 and the 5160. The cost difference doesn't matter to me. I'm just trying to figure out if I'd see any benefit from them. I like the idea of the piston being in the external res and the extra bit of downward travel, but at the same time I'm only going to use the lift provided by the FJ springs and the front 5100's on the .85 setting.

The 5160s are awesome! I have not had them bottom out yet and they perform awesome offroad. They have a good amount of articulation and the remote reservoir just looks awesome.
