Confused about front 5100 Bilstein settings

I believe I read on here that the minimum (bottom) setting of the front 5100 shock will still result in a small lift - less that 1". Correct?

So, has anyone measured the actual lift results of the bottom ring, and the first ring? I really don't want much lift, but I'd like to quantify this before I have them installed.

Use can also use them as a regular shock with a spacer ( topout) as long as they are set at 0".

.85 setting will get you as close to level as you can get.

searching yields the same results.. some people say 1.75 make it even.. but after gas tank full or lots of stuck in back .. gets a reverse rake..

some people say .85 is not worth the money.. some people say 1.75 really gets you 2.00+ lift

so no search is not broken

I got'cha.

The reason you get a "reverse rake" is because stock coils will not hold that much more weight. Remember, you are only changing out the shocks. The coils stay the same rate. If you don't want sag, get higher spring rate coils.

.85 has nothing to do with it...It's the shocks that's worth the money. And you get level at the same time, for free.

.85 will get you as close to level with a slight rake to the front. To some, that is level. Maybe frame level...

To some, 1.75 is level, maybe fender level, but frame is slightly higher in front...And are they running a spacer in the back, perhaps??

Samething here...... .85 will ensure front still lower then rear even with gas and should give a better ride from what I have read. 1.75 will even out completely but any rear weight will create rear to be lower (gas). Also not sure if it's better to do rear as well for better drive...yet more out of pocket cost. Decession

Yes. Also, if you plan to go with the 5100's, I highly recommend getting all 4 shocks... Might as well. Remember you are only lifting the front end, any bigger tire (285) and you might run into rubbing issues.
