1. Cupholder
PULL OUT the center piece that has the flip out arms. MOVE it over a bit and slide it back in. The cupholder will be 2x as big and room enough for cups with handles.
Flip out the arm a bit more and it will hold your cup. That's why the cupholder is adjustable.

You can take out the entire center section if you need one big storage space too.

I have never heard of any problems with accidental openings. I suppose I could accidently open the front door to my house and fall down the steps, since it's not always locked :bonk:

Most domestics have been like this for years, Ford probably the longest. I was surprised when I discovered I had to unlock before I could open the doors on my 4Runner. Seemed old-fashioned.

I would guess that's the main reason they came up with child locks for the rear of most modern vehicles.

Yeah, I know. My dad's Ford is like this. I'm not saying it's a bad feature, I'm just not used to it, I guess. I've been driving around in cars that would not open unless the door was unlocked. I would've preferred the design that BMW uses. Pull once to unlock and twice to open. Oh well.

I don't know if this was mentioned above, but to open the driver's door, I press the button once.

To open all doors, press the button twice.

Someone had to tell me about this as well. I don't know if it is in the manual, as I never read the darn thing...

Manual??? Read??? I thought that was something to take up space in the glove box.

If you buy a car and need a manual, you are either:

a) a woman

b) 16 Years old and Daddy bought it for you

c) a moron

It's that, or there is something "different" with the car that actually requires a reading a manual, for instance, something newly introduced, etc.
